PCAA Construction Update: Phase 4
4/19/2017 - The latest update on PCAA’s remodeling construction project
Primary Care Associates of Appleton continues its remodeling efforts as we are officially in phase 4 of 5 (yes, the end is now in sight!). The expected completion date of all remodeling and improvements is planned for early June, 2017.
In this phase of the project, we’ve seen the relocation of our lab and three Internal Medicine providers: Drs. Eiben, Johnson, and Nichol Frank PA-C. There was also some location changes made for Drs. Juntunen and Hubert (moving into the vacated Dr. Johnson and Dr. Eiben spaces), and Roxie Radich moved from the West wing to the East wing in Dr. Juntunen’s vacated space. (If all that was too confusing, let’s just say there was a lot of shuffling of office spaces!)
Over the next couple weeks, Miron will complete the demolition of the former lab space and central waiting area and begin constructing the new public restrooms. They will also be fabricating new walls for the West and Radiology waiting area, creating a new ancillary reception desk and more private radiology changing areas, as well as constructing our new EKG, Holter/Treadmill and file rooms.
Once phase 4 is complete, phase 5 will bring patient amenity improvements to our facility, such as a coffee station, and digital displays in the waiting rooms which will provide a variety of informative and educational topics. We will also be incorporating acrylic artwork in our waiting rooms as a means of wayfinding throughout our building. Today, we refer to the different wings of our building as Green/West, Blue/East, Purple/North, and Brown/South; the new acrylic panels, featuring images like woods, sky, and fields, will provide a stronger visual reference for each of the waiting areas.
We graciously thank all of our patients and guests for your patience, understanding, and support while we work through our remodeling project. It is our intent to improve your experience at PCAA with all these changes and hope we are achieving these goals to the best of our ability. Thank you for being a part of the PCAA family!
