PCAA Remodeling Project: Phase 4 Update
Phase 4 is moving along this week in the central area of the building where the conjoined space of the West and Radiology waiting areas will be, along with constructing the public restrooms and the additional Radiology exam and changing room space. Due to the finding of an unknown stabilizing “X” beam in the space planned for the new Ancillary Desk, we’ve had to pause and re-evaluate structural options and explore a “Plan B”. We are patiently waiting for the structural engineer’s final report before finalizing the route we want to take. With a few other delays along the way in Phase 3 and unexpected findings in Phase 4, construction is approximately 3-weeks behind schedule (although Miron is confident we can make-up some ground along the way in Phase 4). Right now we are tentatively looking at Phase 4 completion the week of May 22nd. Tasks occurring the week of May 1st: • Drywall all walls in central area & West/Radiology waiting areas • Plumbing work along internal wall West waiting area for installation of sink for new patient refreshment/coffee area. What we can anticipate the week of May 8th: • Installation of ceiling grid in West/Radiology waiting area along with central area of building • Painting of walls in West/Radiology waiting area, along with central area of building • Begin installation of tile in public restrooms Again, we thank our patients, visitors, and staff for your patience and understanding during this extensive project.
