Dr. David Lenz Announces Retirement
In a letter sent to his patients dated April 23, 2021, Dr. Dave Lenz shares the news that he will be retiring from Primary Care Associates of Appleton as of August 1, 2021. Dr. Lenz has been with PCAA since September 2013.
Dear Patients and Friends, As all journeys eventually end as they finally reach their destination, I find that it is probably just as true that one’s perspective is really the only thing that changes. In my small corner of the world, I wanted all those wonderful people that trusted me in their healthcare to be better fit to live longer and especially live better. And so I find that the structure of my journey is about to change. As of August 1, 2021, I plan to retire. I am so deeply grateful for all the opportunities my friends, as patients, have allowed me. You have provided for me to do what I have loved. Thank you. I am pleased to announce Corey Macrander, M.D., Internal Medicine physician, will be joining our practice on September 1, 2021. I am sure you will find Dr. Macrander to be a wonderful physician, in addition to being a dedicated young man. Along with Dr. Macrander, Family Practice physicians, Drs. Merici Awe, Tara Frerks and Michael Werner have the most availability and would also welcome the opportunity to transition your care into their practices. In the near future, you will need to choose a new primary care physician. The group of physicians and nurses, and all my wonderful associates that keep this clinic working at Primary Care Associates is an absolutely talented and dedicated collection of people. The transition to these caregivers will be seamless. For additional information about our physicians accepting new patients or to inquire about transitioning your care, please contact our office at (920) 996-1000 or visit our website at www.primarycareofappleton.com. As my journey takes on a different perspective I hope each of you realize how you have formed and shaped what I have become. I hope only that each of you enjoy your own personal journeys and our ships sail the same winds again someday. God bless and thank you all, Dave Lenz, M.D.
