Welcoming Dr. Brandon Bukovitz
Primary Care Associates of Appleton is proud to welcome Internal Medicine physician Dr. Brandon Bukovitz to our team. A native of Appleton, Dr. Bukovitz brings both deep community roots and a passion for patient-centered care to his practice. He is thrilled to return to the Fox Valley, where he grew up, to care for adults of all ages in the community he calls home.
Dr. Bukovitz is board-certified in Internal Medicine and board-eligible in Geriatrics, giving him a unique perspective on comprehensive adult care. His clinical interests span a wide range of complex medical conditions, with a special focus on geriatrics, chronic disease management, and preventive care. His additional training in geriatrics reflects his holistic approach to health—one that recognizes and respects the emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions of each patient’s well-being.
At the core of Dr. Bukovitz’s philosophy is a commitment to collaboration. “I believe in empowering patients in the decision-making process,” he explains. “That starts with listening to your goals and engaging in open discussion about your health and treatment options. Every individual’s priorities are different, and my goal is to partner with you to create a care plan that makes sense for you.”
This commitment to listening and mutual respect is deeply personal for Dr. Bukovitz. After his own family’s difficult experience navigating a delayed diagnosis for his son, he gained a new appreciation for the importance of feeling heard by your physician. It’s one of the reasons he chose a practice like PCAA, where the private practice model allows him the time and flexibility to prioritize personalized, unrushed care.
Dr. Bukovitz’s patients can expect a provider who listens intently, speaks honestly, and genuinely wants to understand the full picture—not just the symptoms. “Patients won’t care how much you know until they know how much you care,” he recalls being told early in his training. “I carry that advice with me every day.”
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Bukovitz leads a full and vibrant life. He is a third-degree black belt and former member of the U.S. National Karate Team, winning the Pan-American Championship in 2005. He also enjoys ballroom dancing with his wife, traveling the world (he’s visited six continents!), and spending time with his four children. Whether it’s board games with his family, reading to his kids, or catching up on Korean dramas, he embraces life with enthusiasm and heart.
We are excited to have Dr. Bukovitz join our team of exceptional providers at Primary Care Associates of Appleton. His warmth, integrity, and deep respect for the doctor-patient relationship make him a wonderful addition to our internal medicine department.
Dr. Bukovitz is now accepting new patients. To schedule an appointment, please call our office or visit primarycareofappleton.com.
